Two male rats in need of good home come with cage etc only about 8 months old. Are handable and friendly. Email info@rescued4life.co.uk if you can help or offer a foster home.

Hey all I am really sorry to say this but there are people and groups falsely using our good name and reputation to raise awareness or funds for their own gain.
This may be in the form of using our logos, pictures of the animals and or the crafts we make and sell to raise funds for our animals. On some occasions they are also using our website link to add that extra authenticity.

If in doubt have a look at our websites to check if we have returned the link or given them a mention.

If you come across any occurrences like this and you are unsure as to it being genuine support please do not hesitate to ask. Please email me with as much info so I can get people to look into it and take action where required.

We would be grateful if you could repost, retweet or put on your status so we can help raise awareness of those piggy backing on our success.

Happy new year to all our supporters - quick update

Let hope 2011 is a safe and peaceful year for everyone including our furry and feathered friends. We can only hope that less creatures need to call on a space in a rescue and hope that the demand on rescues around the country is not as great this year meaning our critter friends are cared and looked after and have loving homes.

However as the reality of more lost jobs and high cost of living continues we can only see the demand increase continuously. With a number of calls already coming in between Xmas and new year.

Without your continued support we couldn't continue to help the animals in need.

We are always in desperate need for blankets and food including cat food and ferret food and woodbased cat litter. Just think a small bag of cat biscuits each month may only add an extra £1 or £2 but that support will mean that with a number of people doing this we can continue our work. Why not get together at work and a tin of cat food each will soon mean a weeks supply for a cat or two.
